The Settle Family | Joy Session | Houston, TX | Chris

I met this beautiful family through my bible study small group. Aren’t they gorgeous? Like, seriously? We started off in their beautiful home where Jake wanted to show me his incredible baseball skills that he inherited from his dad! Jake is one of the sweetest little boys that I have ever met and I had such an awesome time photographing him and his family!

Jake absolutely HAD to show me his sweet baseball skills. Apparently, the entire family plays baseball every evening for hours!


I love photographing kids being kids. There’s just something very pure about a child’s youth and playfulness.


Sometimes you only need to see a glimpse to know the connection between a mother and son.

I played baseball for 12 years of my life and I only WISH that I had started as young as Jake! How fun!

Nikki & Jared | Attraction Session | Manhattan, KS | Chris

Nikki was my favorite ice cream stylist from Call Hall while I lived in Kansas! That’s how I met her and we’ve kept in touch through the years, so when she asked me to photograph her engagement session and wedding, I was incredibly excited! They met at a K-State football game and that’s where we started their session. Then we headed to a beautiful canola field and finished at an awesome wheat field!

This was one of my favorite engagement sessions ever just because of how much fun Nikki and Jared were to be around. I can’t wait for B and I to photograph your wedding!
