The Yeh Family | Joy/Vacation Session | Baltimore, MD | Chris

Happy last day of August everyone! Less than three months until Christmas (you are welcome)! One aspect that I would LOVE to offer to my clients are vacation and event sessions where I would go with you to an attraction, sporting event, amusement park or getaway and I would photograph your experience. You would not need to worry about taking a camera with you and you would never have to stop what you are doing to take a photo. You can enjoy your experience comprehensively and have some awesome images to show for it. Uncertain of what I mean? Check out these images from my sister’s family’s trip to the aquarium and I think you will have a better understanding of why I want to offer these options to my clients! Plus, I love this family dearly and especially love my adorable nephews! =)

Amanda & TJ | Wedding | Wamego, KS | Chris

Amanda is an awesome photographer. She has been attending the La Brisa Aspiring Photographer Workshops for quite a while now and I have had the pleasure of having her second shoot several weddings with me in the past. Her and TJ are adorable together and it is always an honor to photograph another photographer’s wedding.

Amanda and TJ’s wedding was FULL of amazing details and they even had a table packed with homemade desserts which was definitely one of the best things that I have ever seen at a wedding! Yes, I helped myself and everything was delicious!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your day! Best wishes to your new life together!

Special thanks to Falling Leaves Photography, Lauren Gocken Photography and Cassandra Claire Photography for assisting and shooting with me!

RIP Coby

Through delicately dripping tears, I write today with a humbled, sad and yet appreciative heart. This morning, Coby, our 16 year old family dog, passed away. She was the best, most loyal, most food-driven and happiest dog ever. All she wanted was to be by your side and have you play with her all the time. I remember going with my sister to pick her up as a 9 month old puppy. At the time, my sisters and I really wanted a dog while my parents were lukewarm on the idea. So when my parents went to Hawaii for a vacation, they left us some emergency spending money and we thought it was completely appropriate to spend all of the money to adopt Coby from a home that had too many dogs. Instantly, I loved her.

Coby slept in my bedroom until I left for college. Each morning after going to school, she would sleep in my bed because there would be a perfect oval shaped imprint in my bedding, but I never actually caught her. She was too smart for that.

We were buddies and always played frisbee together. In fact, she was probably the reason why I loved playing ultimate frisbee so much in college because of all the time we spent together.

Coby was the best. She was there for me whenever I needed her. I loved her very much. I hope she is catching unlimited frisbees without getting tired and eating copious amounts of delicious steaks, ribs and pork chops in doggy heaven.

In March, I took these images of Coby and I am really really glad that I did.

She was still running and playing around as if she was 10 years younger.

Goodbye Coby-rama, Cob-ster, Cobayashi, Cobalicious, Cobs and Coby.
