I met them at their home, just a few days after they welcomed their newest addition to their family!

Lately, I feel like I've been living out of my suitcase due to being blessed with traveling for photography opportunities and I wanted to showcase that. In one backpack, this is essentially my life as I currently know it.

Now, onto today’s incredible Joy Session post. Today, we are featuring the Andes family. This is the family of the phenomenal Rik Andes, owner of Rik Andes Photography. Yes, photographing a photographer’s family…no pressure whatsoever. And actually, there was no pressure at all because the Andes are super fun, energetic and have obviously been photographed a few times in the past. B and I met them at Annenberg Park on a ridiculously hot summer day and even through the oppressive heat, we still had a blast because of two words: fake moustaches! As a photographer, you know it is going to be an incredible shoot when your clients bring their own props to personalize session and this one exceeded expectations! Prepare yourself for a TON of images from the Andes’ session because I had such a difficult time narrowing them down! =)

Better late than never, right? Happy late Tuesday afternoon! B and I both have been crazy busy with travel and photography, but we are eager to update this blog to keep you all posted on our best and latest work! Jill and Drew were married this past Saturday. B photographed their engagement session AND their wedding and we will be posting those images soon, but today we want to share Jill & Drew’s awesome engagement session! They started on the campus of Kansas State University and then headed Top of the World park for a few beautifully lit sunset images.
