52 Weeks of Awesomeness & Thursday by La Brisa!

Starting today, B and I are going to embark on the 52 Weeks of Awesomeness that my friend, Erica, of www.ericamay.com and I started several years ago. I have tried twice now and failed to finish this weekly photography project and so this time, with your help, B and I are going to DO this. The farthest that I have ever accomplished is 14 weeks and so with your help (read: accountability), I am going to finish what I started!

As a photographer, sometime you need to work on things outside of your normal purview and this project is going to help us (and you) challenge, grow and creatively develop your photography as a whole. Weekly for the next year, we will be posting our images on THURSDAY! =)

For those of you interested in participating, PLEASE join us! The more the merrier! You definitely do not need to be a professional photographer either, this is something you can easily do with your point and shoot, cell phone, ipad2, etc. You can comment with a link to your image here on our blog or on our La Brisa fan page or you can tag La Brisa Photography in your image on your own FB page or use the hashtag #52WoA on twitter that way we can share your efforts with everyone else! If you are interested in joining our La Brisa Aspiring Photographer Workshop group on FB, please request to join as we will also be sharing our images there too.

La Brisa Competition...
B and I will post our images on the blog as well as on FB. We have decided to make it a little competition between the two of us by having the image with the most likes/comments on the blog/FB wins for that week, but the best part is that you will not know the creator of the images until the following week. So please like/comment on our La Brisa fan page which image you like best each week!

Next Thursday, July 28th, Week 1: Free for all will be due. The image must be created between now and then and it can be of absolutely anything.
