The Yeh Family by Chris!

When I went down to the Washington D.C. area, I had the chance to photograph two amazing families: The Bowker Family and the Yeh Family! The Yehs are quite dear to my heart because it is my sister's family and Matthias is my oldest nephew! Plus, I think this is my first actual full blog post about a photo session with my family so I'm super excited!

As most of you know, I absolutely adore my family and I am so blessed that I can give a little bit back to them with the gift of photography! For their session, we kept things simple. Some candid moments around the house and then we walked around their beautiful neighborhood and grabbed a few moments of the happy, healthy and smiley family together! So much love between the three of them and I think my sister in law said it best when she described the Yehs as "parents who blend their child into their lifestyles; instead of having their child dictate their lifestyle." I don't think I could describe them any better!

Much love to the Yeh family and I can't wait to see Matty grow up and see you both deal with him! :)

The Bowker Family by Chris!

Recently, I had the awesome opportunity of traveling down to the Washington D.C. area for a few family sessions and first on my list was the adorable Bowker family! Corey and Tyler are so incredibly cute and they both knew how to ham it up for the camera! We went to a beautiful park in Falls Church, VA and had a blast running around, playing in the playground and just giggling seeing Tyler and Corey having fun with their parents!

Austin ~ Senior Portraits by Brandi!

Austin Bliss. Sounds like the name of a superhero, right? Or at least a movie star? Well check out his pictures and see how his looks exceed the powers of his name! We started the session on the K-State campus with an abundance of limestone facades and endless sunshine. Austin obviously looks like a man’s man, but he could really strike a pose. His piercing blue eyes were the focus of many of the photos, making it easy to get an amazing shot. After wandering around K-State's campus, we then headed out to the Tuttle Creek Observation Point for some awesome sunset photos. Austin’s baby made a few of the shots…his Chevy pickup truck that is and there is something special about a man and his truck.
