The entire La Brisa team was reunited for the first and what might be the last time in 2013 yesterday. So we celebrated our successes by going to Harry's, our favorite restaurant in Manhattan, KS! We had an awesome evening of food and laughter! Thank you everyone for your continued love, support and encouragement of all of us!

As a photographer, you are privileged to meet and photograph the most extraordinary people. At a recent wedding in Kansas City, I was able to meet and photograph Zach. He was as celebrated and cherished as the bride and it was a phenomenal night of dancing, laughter and joy.

My shoot with Ilana was one of those shoots where everything just falls together perfectly. The weather may not have been completely on our side, but Ilana’s fabulous outfits, and independent personality made our time fly by, and the result was a memorable and unique shoot. I’m so glad I got to meet miss Ilana and do senior portraits for her! Now be jealous of her fashion sense.

Benjamin met me nice and early on a chilly fall morning at Washington Memorial Park before we headed downtown. He didn’t complain once about being cold- despite the fact that in many of his photos, I can see his breath =). I loved that he brought his saxaphone and dog to include on the shoot, and was willing to try fun heel clicks at the end- turned out to be one of my favorite photos!
