Lauren & Caleb Attraction Session

Had a blast with Lauren and Caleb, a future pharmacist and teacher, while we roamed around K-State campus and Tuttle Creek Park. Even though we had to end one session early due to rain, they were awesome enough to reschedule for another session and we thoroughly enjoyed playing around at the park! There exists such an amazing and tangible connection between these two and it's been great getting to know them! Looking forward to their upcoming wedding in June!

Attraction Session - Mindy & Vern

This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to shoot Mindy and Vern's engagement session over at the Governor's Mansion in Topeka. It was an extremely blustery Kansas day, but we were able to take advantage for some nice "wind blown" shots! Mindy and Vern are absolutely hilarious! So much personality, zest and balance between the two of them creates such a dynamic aura around them. They were a blast to be around and I'm really excited for their upcoming wedding in June!

Love the intensity here :)

KSUCVM White Coat Ceremony 2008

Brisa, the namesake of La Brisa Photography, recently celebrated an exciting weekend where all of the third year Veterinary Medicine students receive their official white coats for their upcoming clinical year! So Brisa's entire family flew out and we had a great time celebrating her accomplishment!

Desiree, Michelle & Shelbie - Style Session

These three lovely ladies wanted to take some senior portrait style pictures and I was happy to help them! We wandered over to Tuttle Creek Park and had an amazing shooting from mid afternoon to early into the night! They were each so completely unique with their look and their personality and yet they beautifully came together for the fun group shots. I wish nothing but the best of luck to these wonderful ladies as they continue to get through the challenging and unforgettable time of high school.

Commerce Bank K-State Student Union Staff

Recently had the opportunity to schedule a fun session with the Commerce Bank K-State Student Union staff! I can not thank this team enough for truly welcoming La Brisa Photography into their family. They have helped me set up very stress-free loans, banking accounts and debit cards. If you ever have any banking needs, I highly recommend checking out Carrie's team over in the K-State Student Union because they treat everyone as their #1 customer. Seriously. La Brisa Photography would definitely not be nearly as successful today without the support and assistance of this amazing team! Thanks again for all of your help!

A Barkley Session

Barkley is adorable. Absolutely adorable. Look at him and you'll think that he is adorable. Tamra, his wonderful mom, loves him and treats him like a king! The entire family is so cute together and it is quite apparent that the little man is their fearless leader! We had a wonderful time wandering around Washington Marlatt Memorial Park and the weather cooperated just enough for us to get some awesome sunset shots! All the best to Barkley and his wonderful parents!!!

Ashley - Education Internship Winner

A good friend of ours, Ashley Rippe, contacted me because she had just won the prestigious Lowell Milken Center's first internship and needed a headshot for press releases and other media publications. Taken from their website www.lowellmilkencenter.org, "The Lowell Milken Center Internship is designed to provide early career educators with an opportunity to learn firsthand how projects teaching respect and understanding can make a difference in the world." Ashley has been developing ways to teach students more about diverse cultures through music education. A huge congratulations to her and her upcoming endeavors!!!

And then typically, I could not help but snap a quick picture of Remy, their Jack Russell terrier!

Style Shoot - Melissa & Preston

Recently, I have been shooting quite a few Style sessions with a few more scheduled over the next two weeks and I just absolutely love them! I love interacting with my clients and trying to capture their uniqueness and individualism. Melissa and Preston are aspiring models and it is a privilege to try to help them in their development! With a fantastic rustic industrial background, we had a ton of fun practicing various emotions and poses. Unfortunately, due to some chilly weather, we were forced to head home early, but I am definitely looking forward to finishing our shoot!
