Jennifer & Brady ~ ENGAGED!!!

Exciting times at La Brisa Photography. EXCITING! That's right, I bet your heart is pumping just a little bit faster now because of all of the EXCITEMENT! :)

Why? Let me tell you the reasons...
  1. I have AWESOME clients! Seriously, totally trusting, willing to do anything and teaching me all types of new things like fantastic sunset locations, how to use a dirt digger at a playground, etc!
  2. Not only do I have awesome clients, but I have amazing relatives and siblings of former clients! Love it when that happens!!! AND, the sibling and former client is helping me create a video of the engagement session to share with others! :)
  3. Having an assistant photographer/second shooter adds a TON of value to your shoot. Can't wait for you to see the fantastic images that Ryan of Ryan Edick Photography captured during this shoot!
  4. We made homemade sushi last night with some great friends, had an awesome bible study and life is just rockin right now!
  5. Last one! Photography for a Cause is ROLLIN'!!! Currently, we have reached $325 in donations to give to local non-profit agencies! Less than a week left to participate!
Now onto Jennifer & Brady :)  You may recall Jennifer and Brady from Alicia and Chris' beautiful wedding in July and now I am super pumped about the opportunity to shoot their wedding in 2010! Jennifer and Brady are waaaay fun! They went out and scouted the specific locations prior to our shoot and they found 3 different places where I have never shot before! Talk about awesomeness!

Jennifer = expressive, energetic and loves life.
Brady = patient, chivalrous and laid back.

The bestest thing about their engagement session was just witnessing how much they care about each other. How they so gently and delicately interact with each other and how they can both be completely themselves when they are together! Congratulations you two on your engagement and you have no idea how excited I am about your upcoming wedding!!! Thanks so much!

Special thanks again to Ryan Edick Photography and to our video wizard, Chris from On the Fly Productions!

Joey & Jundee ~ Anniversary

Joey & Jundee. They met in the same area in the Philippines. He lives in New York. She lives in Kansas. They wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary in style with some awesome pictures. They met in Kansas and I am glad that I could help! :)

We started on campus at K-State in front of the beautiful Hale Library and had an wonderful time walking around, chatting it up about New York and getting to know each other better. I think every couple should get fun anniversary pictures because it truly rekindles the love and excitement that you two shared right before marriage and it is a great way to update your profile pictures too! :) Brisa and I haven't taken any fun and creative pictures since our wedding...hmm, anyone interested in doing a session of us???

Congratulations on your anniversary! Thanks again for a special session filled with laughter, smiles, playful sparing and happiness! :)

You can view all of the pictures from your session and order professional prints through your online gallery: Carcallas-Cainong ~ 1 year anniversary!

Ashley & Scott ~ ENGAGED!

Have you ever been to a restaurant and had a really cute waiter or waitress? Have you ever thought about what it would be like to go out with him or her after they finish work? Have you ever asked for your cute server's number? Doesn't that stuff only happen on TV and in movies? Well, Ashley & Scott truly lived out that story. Ashley = Scott's server. Scott = admirer of his server. Scott claims that Ashley invited him to go out with her and her friends after work, THEN Scott asked for Ashley's number...and NOT the other way around. But we'll let their grandchildren fight over that story many times in the future :)

First date @ Tubby's in Aggieville (special thanks to them for allowing us access!)
Proposal @ Manhattan letters after a fun fun scavenger hunt
Happiness forever after!

We hit up all of their favorite spots around Aggieville, the Manhattan letters and then some awesome evening shots in downtown Manhattan. Ashley & Scott were simply amazing. Never complained once about anything. Willing to put up with my each and every whim. To top it off, they both are absolutely gorgeous and both of them have such captivating eyes! I love my clients. I truly do! They make my photos look soooooo much better :)

Lastly, I just wanted to publicly thank Scott and all of his fellow soldiers for their service to our country. Without your service, your sacrifices and your bravery, we would not be able to take advantage of the freedoms we currently and selfishly enjoy. Thank you for doing what you do!

Thanks again Ashley & Scott for choosing La Brisa Photography! You rock! Many blessings to you both!

To view all of the pictures from their session and order professional prints, head over to their online gallery: Ashley & Scott ~ Engagement!

CAUTION: this is by far the most pictures I have ever posted for a single session. Prepare your eyes for an overload of beautimousness!!! :)
