Happy Memorial Day!

Brandi and I have had the distinct pleasure of photographing many of our servicemen and women over the years and so on this Memorial Day, we want to thank them (and their families) again for their sacrifices, service and commitment to protecting our freedom. We hope that all of you are enjoying your three day weekend and are taking the time to honor our fallen today! =)

A Shout-out to All Parents!

With both of my sisters raising ridiculously adorable little boys, I notice babies, children and parents much more than ever before in my life. I notice how cute kids are and how much fun certain kids are and how playful others are, etc, etc. You get the idea. Well, when I came across this video, I absolutely HAD to share it with all of you because it's just too funny! Happy Saturday, sit back and enjoy! =)

The Olsen Family | Joy Session | Manhattan, KS | Brandi & Chris

The first time I met the Olsen family, I was wow'd and amazed by their beauty, grace and love for each other! Well, that was almost a year ago and since then, I have added Brandi as an associate photographer and I have moved to Brooklyn, NY. As a result, Brandi has taken the torch and has made me look bad by doing another amazing Olsen family session four months later! Then, a couple of months ago, Keaton celebrated his very 1st birthday and the Olsens invited Brandi back to help document the wonderful celebration!
I recently had an opportunity to go back to Manhattan, KS for a few weddings and when the Olsens said they were interested in a family session, Brandi and I were CRAZY excited to photograph our favorite clients TOGETHER! For some reason, awesomeness occurs when we shoot together plus it is SUPER fun !!!

Thank you for your continued support and love for La Brisa Photography! You are the best and Brandi and I definitely appreciate all of the referrals that you have sent our way!!! =)

Originally, I had this idea that I really wanted to try with the Jenny, Luke and Keaton. I thought that they would be PERFECT for the concept and I absolutely LOVE the result!

The Mott, Owens & Swann Families | Joy Session | Manhattan, KS | Chris

I love family reunions! You may recall MaryJo and Thad from their awesome wedding last July, well they recommended I do a family session for MaryJo's sister, Jeanette and they came along for the session as well! We had a ton of fun running all around Annenberg Park and the weather was absolutely perfect!
