52WoA: Week 9 - Joy

As a photographer, sometime you need to work on things outside of your normal purview and this project is going to help us (and you) challenge, grow and creatively develop your photography as a whole. Weekly for the next year, we will be sharing our images with you here!

For those of you interested in participating, PLEASE join us! The more the merrier! You definitely do not need to be a professional photographer, this is something you can easily do with your point and shoot, cell phone, ipad, etc. You can comment with a link to your image here on our blog or on our La Brisa fan page or you can tag La Brisa Photography in your image on your own FB page or use the hashtag #52WoA on twitter that way we can share your efforts with everyone else! If you are interested in joining our La Brisa Aspiring Photographer Workshop group on FB, please request to join as we will also be sharing our images there too.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Wedding Week continues on the La Brisa blog and I am incredibly elated to feature Sarah and BJ’s intimate outdoor wedding! You may remember this gorgeous couple from their amazing Attraction Session that b and I photographed ~ Sarah & BJ!

I especially loved photographing this wedding because of how intimate and family-centric they planned out their day. Weddings are about love, family and commitment and it was so awesome to have Sarah and BJ surrounded only by their loved ones. I could not have asked for a more beautiful couple and more importantly they trusted me implicitly. And for that, I am incredibly grateful.

Courtney & Ari | Wedding | Lincoln, MA | Chris

Happy Tuesday everyone! This will be wedding week on the blog as we have sooo many weddings to blog and I am super excited to feature Courtney and Ari’s wedding which was my first ever Massachusetts trip! Which I was able to cross off my goal of shooting a wedding in all 50 states by 2015!

I have known Ari since we were roommates during our first year in undergrad at UC Davis. The opportunity to photograph his wedding was such an honor for me. Always great catching up with old friends!

Courtney and Ari were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Codman Estate and it was absolutely perfect. The weather was phenomenal and the surroundings could not have been more gorgeous! I started the day shooting at Courtney’s parents’ house and their adorable dog, Finley, was my shadow the entire morning. With everything so well planned, the entire day went incredibly smoothly and I had an awesome time hanging out with the hilarious wedding party.
