52WoA: Week 38 - Patriotic

it was obvious to use Mr. Mussack, right?! Nothing beats my man in his uniform and Old Glory. Honoring the men and women who have served, will serve and are currently serving our great nation.

The past week has been a bit crazy for me. So late last night before my 7:30am flight this morning, I worked on creating something fun and different for this week’s 52WoA challenge. I really wanted to try something new and so I focused on texture, so in this composite image, you will find a Frisbee, a pillowcase, a seatbelt purse, a cd case, a handmade blanket and fittingly enough, a travel pillow. Can you guess what is what?

As a photographer, sometime you need to work on things outside of your normal purview and this project is going to help us (and you) challenge, grow and creatively develop your photography as a whole. Weekly for the next year, we will be sharing our images with you here!

For those of you interested in participating, PLEASE join us! The more the merrier!
