Whitney & Josh | Kansas City, MO Wedding | b & Chris

Whitney and Josh are incredible. Super fun, awesome and they completely trusted us. After their wonderful Attraction Session, they knew that they did not have anything to worry about on their wedding day (photographically speaking). Their wedding party was ridiculously phenomenal and they made our day sooooo enjoyable. I am going to let Whitney share her experience through her review of La Brisa:
Hubby and I were lucky enough to have La Brisa Photography photograph our October 29, 2011 wedding. We met Chris and B at our engagement session and they greeted us with hugs and smiles making us instantly more comfortable and relaxed.

I emailed/texted/called Chris several times before our wedding and he always replied in a very timely manner and it was one of the best working relationships I've ever had!

Chris and B started with us at 8am the morning of the wedding and stayed until the very end of the reception at 11pm. They were both very professional yet very friendly the whole day. A few things that we really appreciated the day of the wedding was that they were very knowledgeable about how we had scheduled the day and were great about keeping everyone on schedule. I also never saw them during our ceremony which we really appreciated. They took fabulous photos of our ceremony but they were never in our faces, disturbing views of our family members, or disrupting the ceremony. Several guests commented that if you weren't at the wedding, you feel as though you were there with the detailed photos taken throughout the entire day. I really appreciated all the small details they captured...our rings, programs, favors, cake, food, centerpieces, hugs, facial expressions, etc.

La Brisa is very reasonably priced for the quality of photos they take. We received DVDs of all our wedding photos about a month after our wedding which is extremely fast!

Overall, we have a wonderful relationship with Chris and B of La Brisa Photography and hope to work with them again in the future! We would recommend La Brisa to everyone in search of a photographer for any chapter in life!

Thank you again so much for the opportunity to photograph your incredible day! You can view more images from their wedding on the La Brisa Facebook page by clicking HERE. In one of the most incredible random happenings at a wedding, one of Whitney’s gorgeous bridesmaids was tripped and nearly fell and I absolutely LOVE Whitney’s reaction post fall!

I love how natural and candid this is.

Whitney and Josh asked their guests to submit their own wedding images and they were printed and hung around the venue.

Photo Bombed! I was waiting for this perfect image of Whitney and Josh dancing and right before I clicked the shutter, my awesome friend Caitlin, aka Whitney’s wedding coordinator, aka pure awesomesauce, jumps in to make this image a billion times better than it was ever going to be.

And Whitney and Josh with La Brisa! =)

If you do not like ice cream cake, I do not know if we can ever hang out. Seriously. Here is my first slice of my delicious birthday cake. Full Disclaimer: the idea to photograph the ice cream cake for this project was completely from my beautiful wife.

Laura & Jordan | Kansas City, MO Wedding | b & Chris

The real joy in being a wedding photographer is the incredible couples that I have the privilege of meeting. Laura and Jordan are extraordinary people. Seriously. Laura is an amazing photographer who owns CapturedInHisImage Photography. Go check out her work!

Today, I am going to let Laura share her experience through her review of La Brisa:

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the service La Brisa Photography provided during the months leading up to our wedding, on the day itself and the weeks followiing.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding Chris took time to Skype conference with us to make sure we had a schedule and portrait line-up that was ammenable to our day. Of all our vendors, Chris was the one who helped us set the pace for everyone else- I don't know what we would have done without his preparation assistance!

On the day of the wedding Chris and Brandi fit right in with all of our family and friends. From our first-look to the very end of the reception, they made everything comfortable and special, a perfect combination for an otherwise hectic day! We knew they had captured our day beautifully before we even saw pictures. However, when Chris approached my husband and I during our reception and handed us an IPad with a photo slideshow of photos from the day already going, our jaws hit the floor. It was amazing to reflect on the day as the evening came to a close. I was so thankful for their attention to detail and obvious desire to provide top-notch customer service on-top of everything else they had done that day.

We recently received La Brisa's discs of our photos and laughed, cried and reminisced as we looked through all of the incredible images. Chris and Brandi were able to provide us not only with hundreds of beautiful images, but also memories of our day that we will have forever. We highly recommend La Brisa Photography for your wedding portraiture needs!

And you can view all the images from their wedding through their online gallery by going to www.labrisaphotography.com and clicking on “Clients” and “Weddings”.
